Bio

Shannon Cox has been studying the guitar for over 20 years, graduating with a bachelors of fine arts in guitar performance from Southern Wesleyan University in 2014. During his studies there, Shannon also acquired a specialist certificate in jazz composition and arranging from Berklee College of Music Online, with his arrangement of “500 Miles High” being featured in the Berklee’s Best in Program recital. In 2015, Shannon began pursuing a career in accounting and received his CPA certification in 2021. Despite the career change, Shannon continues to write, arrange, and perform music in the upstate.
